This is a difficult depot to view from a public area, particularly so being bounded for the most part by a tall wooden fence.

Turn left outside Eastleigh station into Southampton Road, go past the multi-storey car-park on your right, and turn first left into Campbell Road. This takes you over the railway and down along the side of the Works yard on your left (qv). Continue past the depot (on your right) along Campbell Road and turn right just before the road ends into an unnamed short cul-de-sac . Park at the end of this cul-de-sac, and walk off to the right along the path/service road between the depot boundary and the backs of the houses to view the back of the depot.

For another view of the depot, instead of turning left into Campbell Road, continue straight down Southampton Road and park in a small car-park on the left before the petrol station. The far side of the depot can be seen from here, though the views are end-on. Binoculars required.

Views of the depot from trains passing between Eastleigh and Southampton Airport Parkway station are very limited.
