Leave the M6 at Junction 3 and head towards Coventry on the A444 Phoenix Way, Turn right at the first roundabout by the Ricoh Arena, signposted Prologis Park. Follow the railway line on your left hand side, until you pass the gatehouse, and follow the Central Boulevard through the industrial estate until you circle the railway loading point and the shunter can be viewed by the Co-op warehouse.

If the barriers prevent you from accessing the site by road, go to Bennetts Road North, park in a short back entrance to the site by the Colliery Sports and Social club, and the shunter can be seen from this point and approached by foot. To reach Bennetts Road from Prologis Park, head back towards the A444 Phoenix Way but before reaching the A444, but turn right onto Wheelwright Lane. Fork right onto Parkville Highway, and right at a crossroads onto Penny Park Lane. Turn right at the T-junction onto Bennetts Road and continue north to the Colliery Sports and Social club.
